Manuela Dia is an italian singer, musician, producer and songwriter.

Born as a vocalist for some famous Italian artists, such as Celentano, Jovanotti and Lucio Dalla, she’s able to sing and write in five different languages. She studied harmony, guitar, improvisation and songwriting. She won the Tenco and Recanati prizes.

Miles Davis inspired her to pursue another musical path...jazz. Her favourite artists are Thelonious Monk, Tom Waits, Chet Baker, Betty Carter, David Bowie, John Cage, Erik Satie, Mavis Staples, Nina Simone, Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, David Sylvian, Paolo Conte, Serge Gainsbourg, Charles Trenet, Anton Jobim, Astrud and Joao Gilberto. Manuela’s other hobbies are literature, movies, painting, poems and staying with her family. She worked for advertising and theatre and collaborated with different artists, not only from Italy, while exploring new genres like pop, blues, bossa nova, dance, soul and latin-jazz.

She’s been working since forever with Massimo Paramour, a friend and versatile musician and producer, who handled the arrangements of her newest album. All songs written by Manuela Dia, recorded in London at Intonoise Studio, arranged by Massimo Braghieri and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Geoff Pesche.
